Non-contact Ultrasonic Level Meter for Liquid Level

(2) Select measuring mode:
Measuring modes are divided into distance measuring mode and material
level measuring mode. And the factory default is material level
(3)Input probe height value to “reference zero point” (probe height is the
distance from probe emitting surface to tank bottom or pool bottom).
① Under distance measuring mode, setting of reference zero point is
meaningless and the positions of maximum of measuring range and
minimum of measuring range are as shown in Fig. 1.1.
② Under material level measuring mode, the positions of reference zero
point, maximum of measuring range and minimum of measuring range are
as shown in Fig. 1.2.
Parameters that need to be known before selection:
1> The type of medium to be measured (liquid or solid, specific name: clean water, sewage, mud, gasoline, diesel, toluene, sulfur dioxide, etc.) If it is liquid: whether there is steam, mist, foam, waves, stirring, floating objects on the liquid surface ; If it is solid: whether there is dust.
2> The lowest and highest temperature of the medium ; lowest to highest pressure of the medium.
3> The corrosiveness of the medium. If it is placed in a tank, you need to know the material of the tank and whether there is an anticorrosive lining.
4> Do you need explosion-proof and anti-corrosion type?
5> How long do you need measurement range ? and what is the required blind zone.
6> Working environment: such as open pool, pool with cover, horizontal tank, standing tank, spherical tank, whether the tank is at atmospheric pressure, etc.
7> Working voltage: 24VDC or 220VAC
8> Output signal: 4～20mA current 485 communication output relay output
9> Equipment form: split or integrated
