Detect, collect and locate target objects through ultrasonic transducer
In the automated systems, there are many ways to detect, collect and locate target objects. You can use magnetic fields, dielectric constants (properties of matter), light and sound waves to detect metals, non-metals, magnets, solids, and liquids in a non-contact manner within a distance of 1mm to 60m.You can reliably detect and inspect components with the help of suitable ultrasonic distance sensor even during difficult conditions via transportation. You can choose inductive, photoelectric, capacitive or ultrasonic transducers according to your requirements.
Photoelectric and ultrasonic sensors are usually used to detect targets at long distances (50mm). Inductive or capacitive ultrasonic sensors are more suitable for targets closer to the sensor (50mm).
Ultrasonic Sensor Technology
Depending on the scope of application, you can use different technologies:
■ Ultrasonic distance measurement transducer is used to detect all metal targets at close range.
■ Capacitive sensor is used to detect the presence or level of almost all materials and liquids at the close range.
■ Photoelectric sensors are divided into diffuse reflection sensors, specular reflection sensors or through-beam sensors, which are used to detect almost all targets at long distances measurement.
■ ultrasonic piezoelectric transducers is used to detect almost all targets at long distance.
