Underwater Acoustic Transducer Application:
A transducer that converts sound signals into electrical signals is used to receive sound signals in water. It is called areceiving transducer, also known as a hydrophone. Hydrophone is widely used in underwater communication, continental exploration, target location, tracking and so on. It is an important component of sonar. Underwater detection, identification, communication, marine environmental monitoring side and marine resources development are inseparable from underwater acoustic transducer.
The underwater acoustic transducer is a device that converts electrical signal into underwater acoustic signal or underwater acoustic signal into electrical signal. Its position in sonar is similar to that of antenna in radio equipment. It is an acoustic device that transmits and receives acoustic waves underwater. The transducer that converts electrical signals into underwater acoustic signals is used to radiate sound waves into water, which is called transmitting transducer. A transducer that converts sound signals into electrical signals is used to receive sound signals in water. PZT Material:
- PZT4 Piezoelectric ceramics have a double behavior of receiving and transmitting, with higher sensitivity and lower dielectric loss.
- PZT5 Piezoelectric ceramics have higher electro-mechanical coupling coefficient, the moderate dielectric constant and higher sensitivity.
- PZT8 Piezoelectric ceramics of high power transmission type have good piezoelectric property, high mechanical strength, high coercive field, low dielectric loss in strong fields.
