Factors affecting the normal operation of ultrasonic liquid level gauge
Several factors affecting the normal operation of ultrasonic liquid level gauge

1.The effect of stirring on the ultrasonic level transducer. The on-site container often has stirring, and the liquid fluctuation is relatively large, which affects the measurement of the ultrasonic liquid level gauge; in this case, the speed of the stirrer can be appropriately reduced, or the probe can be deviated from the stirring center; a waveguide can also be installed to effectively eliminate the stirring. The effect of the mixer is stirring on the liquid level measurement.

2. The effect of foam on the ultrasonic level transducer sensor on the ultrasonic level gauge:In the process of using an ultrasonic liquid level gauge to measure the liquid level, foam interference is often encountered. Foam can be divided into four types: dry, wet, neutral and heavy.

Dry foam and wet foam can reflect the ultrasonic wave back, so the ultrasonic liquid level gauge has no effect on measurement; the neutral foam will absorb and diffuse part of the ultrasonic wave, thus weakening the reflection of the ultrasonic wave, resulting in unstable echo. Therefore, when the surface of the medium is thick and thick foam, the measurement error of the ultrasonic liquid level gauge will be large, and it may not even be measured. Under severe interference conditions, the ultrasonic liquid level gauge can be shielded from the interference of foam by adding a wave absorbing tube.

3. The influence of steam and mist on the ultrasonic liquid level gauge:
When the working environment temperature is high, the liquid medium is prone to generate steam or mist. Since the steam is lighter than air, it floats to the top of the tank, forming a steam layer that absorbs and scatters ultrasonic pulses. The method of adding a waveguide can reduce or weaken the influence of the steam layer on the measurement.

4. The effect of the blind zone on the ultrasonic liquid level gauge:
The blind spot of the ultrasonic liquid level gauge is just like the human eye. The blind spot is when the object is very close to the eye, but it cannot be seen clearly. This distance is called the blind spot. The blind zone of the ultrasonic liquid level gauge is different according to the different measuring range. If the detecting range is small, the blind zone is small, and if the range is large, the blind zone is large. Therefore, it is required that the highest liquid level measured should not be higher than the blind area of the ultrasonic liquid level gauge.

5. The influence of pressure and temperature on the ultrasonic liquid level gauge:
First of all, the speed of sound cannot propagate under vacuum, and the essence of ultrasonic waves is a sound wave, and belongs to mechanical waves, so it cannot propagate in vacuum. Secondly, it is the temperature. The higher the temperature, the higher the ultrasonic speed. Although the parameters of the ultrasonic level gauge have a maximum pressure value, the maximum pressure value of
piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer will decrease accordingly as the temperature increases, so it is necessary to select Note this parameter. In addition, for the liquid level gauge installed outdoors, which measures such as installing a sunshade can be used to reduce the influence of temperature factors.
