1. Introduction

Downhole drilling transducer (detecting sidewall collapse):

During building engineering construction, after excavating the pile foundation, it is necessary to fill the mud with a density of 1.3~1.4, and use ultrasonic waves to detect whether the side wall collapses. In this way, the ultrasonic energy is required to be sufficiently large, and at the same time, it has a strong penetrating power and a small dead zone.so we use 32 small piezo ceramic cylinders to form a transducer array with a frequency of 90KHz. The sensitivity is three times that of a single piezo ceramic and the blind area is about 0.5m.
