For the future development of PZT piezoelectric ceramics transducer, the hot trends have three aspects: (1) PZT piezoelectric ceramics with high conversion efficiency. PZT piezoelectric ceramics with high energy conversion efficiency are emerging. Fujitsu Research Laboratory has developed lead-based perovskite piezoelectric ceramics consisting of lead nickel niobate, lead titanate, and lead zirconate. The use of ceramic materials for ultrasonic transducer fetal doppler , product effects, and the combination of different degrees of bonding can lead to the development of new multifunctional ferroelectric piezo ceramic materials. At present, there are magnetoelectric coupling, optoelectronic coupling, magneto-optical coupling and so on. The single-phase magnetoelectric material developed for piezoelectric vibration sensorin this laboratory has achieved certain results. (4) Lead-free series of piezoelectric ceramics. Because PZT-based piezoelectric ceramics contain a large amount of lead components and the manufacturing process is prone to environmental pollution, the research of lead-free series piezoelectric ceramics has been quietly emerging, but its performance is not as good as that of PZT material, and further improvement is needed. (5) Piezoelectric composites. Compared with traditional piezoelectric ceramics, piezo transducer datesheet has better flexibility and mechanical processing performance, low density, low sound speed, and easy acoustic impedance matching of air, water and biological tissues.
