performance of the multi-system piezoelectric ceramic

They are used in different components. Such as PZT-4 ,which has a high coupling coefficient (K p) and dielectric constant (ε), a small dielectric loss (tan δ), these characteristics of piezo disc crystal determine the material adapted to ultrasound, underwater acoustic emission transducer, high voltage generating components and so on. PZT-5A material of piezoelectric disc transducer also has a high coupling coefficient (Kp) and dielectric constant (ε). However, the dielectric loss is relatively large and the quality factor (Qm) is small. Therefore, it is suitable for receiving elements of underwater acoustic and ultrasonic transducers, such as NDT and diagnostic transducers, hydrophone . PZT-6B piezo expansion sensor has a high quality factor (Qm) and therefore be used to make filters. In addition, on the basis of PZT, people have developed PZT-based ternary system, multi-system piezoelectric ceramics. Making the piezoelectric properties of piezoelectric ceramics in a wider range is adjustable. PZT tube piezoelectric cylinders system with excellent performance has been obtained to meet the needs of piezoelectric devices in different fields. PZT piezoelectric ceramics are widely used in electric field driven mechanical and electrical equipment to generate resonance. However, experiments show that under low-power resonance piezo tube stack , the performance of the piezoelectric ceramic is always the same even if vibrated for a long time. However, driven by high power, the stability of piezo ceramics decreases, while other properties also decrease. After the experimental study found that the cause of this phenomenon: When the oscillation is at the high frequency oscillation, which is the piezo ceramic surface temperature , piezoelectric cylinder sensor will be significantly increased. Thus undermining the normal process of ceramic re-aging, resulting in decreased performance. This makes high-power piezoelectric material research and development imperative. At present, the research in this area is based on PZT, such as the Pz24 made by Ferroperm in Denmark, which is successfully applied to high power transducers. Another example is the piezoelectric ceramic, which developed to produce the output power of 30W above the piezoelectric transformer. Performance Improvement of Lead-Free Piezoelectric Ceramics Although PZT-based lead-containing piezoelectric sensor crystal dominate the piezoelectric field. However, PZT-based piezoelectric ceramics is a kind of material that is harmful to the human body and the environment. Among them, toxic lead oxide is easily volatilized during processing and sintering, which causes harm to the human body and the environment. However, it is impossible to completely eliminate lead oxide without affecting the performance of PZT ceramics.
