The piezo sounder ceramic element buzzer is a piezoelectric ceramic crystal that is pressed by a high pressure and adhered to a vibrating metal piece. When an AC voltage is applied, mechanical deformation stretching and contraction occur due to the piezoelectric effect, and this characteristic is used to vibrate the metal disc piece to make an audible sound.


The following is the fixing method of the piezo disc benders : 1. Peripheral support mode: the outer edge of the buzzer is fixed in the resonant cavity, generally no feedback of brass ceramic is used, and the piezo buzzer must be the resonant cavity frequency. With the combination, there will be a higher sound pressure output, and the external oscillation circuit generates a push signal to make the piezo buzzer sound. 2: Node support mode - The buzzer piece is fixed in a ring structure of the same size as the diameter of the piezoceramic piece. If the resonant cavity is well designed and matched with the correct frequency feedback buzzer and positive feedback circuit, it will produce a large sound pressure and the correct frequency bimorph piezo disc benders.
