Acoustic Spherical Hydrophone for Underwater Acoustics

Product Description

Acoustic Spherical Hydrophone for Underwater Acoustics

1. The standard hydrophone has the following characteristics:

1. Good directionality. The hydrophone has no directivity horizontally, and no directivity within 240° of the vertical plane.

2. High sensitivity and flat response.

3. Good stability and high reliability. The hydrophone has good temperature, pressure, and time stability, and the hydrophone has high reliability and is suitable for underwater acoustic calibration.

2. The main technical indicators of standard hydrophones:

Operating frequency range: 20Hz~50kHz

Linear frequency range: 20Hz~20kHz

Low frequency receiving sensitivity: -193dB

Horizontal directivity: ±1.5dB (50kHz)

Vertical directivity: ±2.0dB (50kHz, 240° range)

Maximum working depth: 500 meters

3. Directivity diagram of typical frequency (5dB per grid)

4.sensitivity curve of Free-field open circuit voltage:

5. the external dimensions and the definition of the core wire at the end of the cable

Definition of the core wire at the end of the cable: red wire-signal +; black wire-signal -; shielded wire-ground wire; the standard length of the cable is 15 meters

6. Precautions for use and storage:

1. The sensitive element of the head of the hydrophone is piezoelectric ceramic, which is a fragile item, and the head needs to be protected during transportation or handling;

2. In order to prolong the service life of the hydrophone, when the hydrophone is not used for a long time, it needs to be taken out of the water, dried and stored in a dry, low-temperature environment. Avoid direct sunlight, causing rubber aging.
