Ultrasonic Level Measurement Application:
Ultrasonic sensors determine the material level based on the basic principle of acoustic (mechanical) energy.In non-contact ultrasonic level measurement, the sensor emits ultrasonic pulses in the direction of the medium, which then reflects them back.The elapsed time from emission to reception of the signals is proportional to the level in the tank. Ultrasonic sensors are ideal for simple standard applications, both for liquids and for solids.The transducer emits high frequency pulses above human hearing (20-148 KHz). The ultrasonic transducer produces high voltage sound waves in transmit mode (similar to a loudspeaker) that propagate to the target and then reflect back from the product surface (echo). The transducer then switches to receiver mode (similar to a microphone) to listen to the reflected wave (echo). The reflected wave is then converted to an electrical signal, which is converted to give the distance to a specific target
