14kHz-18kHz Cylindrical Receiving Transmitting Transducer for Communication Application


 

1. Measurement Contents:


1.1 Conductivity and Capacitance Curves: Measuring the conductivity and capacitance curves of the transducer.

1.2 Transmitting Voltage Response: Measuring the transmitting voltage response within the 14kHz-18kHz frequency band. The response at the resonant frequency should be no less than 140dB, and the fluctuation within the band should not exceed 2dB.

1.3 Receiving Sensitivity: Measuring the receiving sensitivity within the 14kHz-18kHz frequency band. It should be no less than -198dB, and the fluctuation should not exceed 4dB.

1.4 Impedance: Measuring the impedance of the transducer within the 14kHz-18kHz frequency band, where the impedance at the resonant frequency should be within the range of 800Ω-1400Ω.

1.5 Maximum Operating Voltage: Maximum operating voltage (continuous).

1.6 Horizontal Directivity: Horizontal omnidirectional, measured at frequencies of 14kHz, 16kHz, and 18kHz.

1.7 Hydrostatic Pressure: 5MPa.

2. Measurement Data Two transducers were tested. After hydrostatic pressure tests at 5MPa/1h, 0MPa/0.25h, 5MPa/1h, and 0MPa/0.25h, the insulation resistance between the transducer core wires and the insulation resistance between the core wires and the outer casing were both greater than 200MΩ. The acoustic performance measured after the hydrostatic tests is as follows:
